As I was browsing over numerous blogs today, I came across proBlogger.net. Well actually I did visit his site few weeks back but I didn’t go back until recently. Something attracted my attention and it was a blogger job post where you can actually pay a fee of $50 per month to Darren Rowse (proBlogger.net owner) to post an advertisement to hire a part time or full time blogger to write for your site. Though the pay was not fantastic, you get approximately $600 to $800 per month depending on which company. Contrary to what you might think, $600 is already huge cash in my country! I did apply for one of the blogger post but they didn’t get back to me and anyway it was not related to anything that I’m doing at the moment (they wanted a person to blog about their country). I was further amazed at a statement made by Darren. He said that building a website or blog over the internet is similar to network marketing or rather exponential growth. Though it might be slow in the beginning, which is very true, net traffic will slowly build up provided that you are still in the game. Word of advice, don’t expect tons of traffic coming over your site on the first 3 to 6 months – it’s normal. However, you will expect somewhat exponential growth once your site is established especially when you manage to build quality content over your site. I think this statement is quite true. Looking back through time, exactly 1 month ago, DotMySpot.com had a very slow start. There weren’t many visitors and content was almost non existent. But through several marketing channel, I managed to slowly build up traffic to my site. If you are following my Adsense articles, traffic equals to money! – in this case from Adsense! Take a look at the graph below: Though incomplete, the traffic actually builds up! (Don’t mind Jan 4th as at the time the snapshot was taken, it wasn’t the end of the day yet)  And if you are wondering on how the site is performing, take a look at the second screenshot. Even before the end of the month (ending 10th January) I had achieved over 500 unique hits already!  Finally by looking at my Adsense screenshot, I’ve already made $17.67! Unique hits has hit 710 as at 10 Jan! One month since this website was launched. An outstanding performance. Mind you that I have not used any traffic exchange programs.
I've applied for blogexplosion but they still haven't approve my sites until now. Next month should blogexplosion approve my sites, the traffic would be mixed with traffic exchange. Write comment
