Web Directories: A Free Way to Get Traffic and a Backlink to Your Blog |

 Every blog, website or online business needs web traffic. Web traffic can determine how much money your blog or online business can make over time. I’ve seen blogs like JohnChow.com, HongKiat.com, PaulTan.org and ChanLilian.net making thousands or rather tens of thousands of dollars every month because they have huge traffic going through their site. One definite method to gain more traffic is by adding your site to a Blogs Directory.
A web directory is like a double edge sword. If you add your link to a good web directory, not only you’ll receive traffic to your site, you’ll also build a backlink to your site. Good web directories sometimes have a Page Rank on specific sub folders and this would add to your advantage of getting a better Page Rank. Speaking of Google Page Rank, I received news that they didn’t update their Page Rank database for the second quarter 2007. Not sure whether this is good news or not, you be the judge.
