| Using NetVibes.com to Keep Track of Your RSS Feeds: Pros and Cons Using RSS Readers |
|

Feeds are important. I did not use feeds in the past as I prefer the classic steps of1. ‘remember the domain name’ 2. type the domain name and visit it everyday 3. there might be changes on the website but 50% of the time there aren’t I met HongKiat the other day and I saw him using NetVibes. The software is fast loading and the interface is good. It’s also easy to manage and I can access it easily – without even logging in every time. However I have mixed feeling over RSS feeds vs the classic steps 2. If you don’t write interesting titles = no hits to your site and 3. When no hits to your site = no revenue for PPC such as Adsense 4. However, if you manage to build a gigantic reader list on your RSS feed – you can monetize it using various tools such as Feedburner. This will provide additional revenue. ![]() Using NetVibes you can add feeds and put your feeds windows wherever you like. You can also check the weather, search for blogs, videos, check you email, digg, ebay and many more. I put my feeds on Netvibes and also my Alexa ranking window. It’s so convenient! Miao* Cheers!
