 Like the title says, traffic is money. The more traffic your site receives, the more money. Take a look at Adsense for example, there are sites which have a high click through rate and there are sites which performed marginally – roughly 1% click throughs. Usually Adsense sets the margin for legal clicks to be around 5% to 10% of the total clicks. I’ve seen sites which has enormous traffic – at least 3,000 unique hits per day, not to mention how many pageviews yet. Usually pageview ratio is around 5 to 10 times the amount of unique hit. Imagine having 90,000 hits with 200,000 pageviews. Just have 1% out of 90,000 which is 900 unique clicks. This is what your Adsense income will look like: That’s 900 x $0.30 per average click = $270 / month I put $0.30 per average click – I believe tech sites have a higher ratio as I get good money per click on my tech site. How bout $0.50 per unique click on tech sites? That’s 900 x $0.50 per average click = $450 / month That’s 4500 x $0.30 per average click = $1350 / month How bout tech sites? That’s 4500 x $0.50 per average click = $2250 / month That’s good money! The next question remains, how to build traffic? I’m not the expert but I believe that you can build traffic through 1. Search Engines 2. Blow your wallet on advertising 3. Build a celebrity blog I think that it’s smarter to create a celebrity blog – those camwhoring dudes and dudests.. Their blogs have one of the highest hit rates and advertising agencies will come squirming to them and want to advertise on their blogs. So how much do they make monthly? Usually a good couple of thousands to a five figure and to some extent – six figure income bloggers. I love counting and I hope u enjoy these figures :) PS - Should I start camwhoring?...
