This is kind of impromptu – I can’t stress enough that having your own domain name is ever so important. Even with just a plain domain name such as your own name, it helps your readers to remember your site clearly. Not to mention, there are 6 billion people in the world and how many do you think have the name Michelle or Max or even Eve? Domain names are snapped up like hot cakes and even I have registered my own name as a domain name.

Here are some places where you can purchase your domain name with a ‘.com’ extension on a year basis:

I personally prefer GoDaddy. Registering a domain name just takes a few steps and they even have their own parked domain template. I already have 2 domains registered under GoDaddy. Furthermore, if you purchase any of their web hosting plans, you will be entitled to purchase an unlimited number of domain names for just a mere $1.99 for each domain name.
