 There are so many pinging services out there that could do the job perfectly – I used to manually ping my blogs on each sites such as Technorati, Feedburner, Weblogs.com, Bloglines and many more.It’s really easy to ping your blog these days – all you need to do is place your URL to ping and the system would automatically ping your blog and check for updates. Why you must ping your blogs? 1. Gain more exposure 2. More crawlers would come to your site 3. More traffic However, I need to caution you that there are automated systems that might crawl your site and spam it – remember to include Akismet system to avoid this. My favorite pingers: 1.
