| How to Appear in the Top Ten List on Search Engines |
|

Search engines are complicated lot – you won't know exactly how they work unless you are there working for Google or Yahoo! To know exactly how they function is pretty fuzzy at the moment. One thing for sure, there is a method to appear at the top of the list using proper anchor text linking to the site. I didn’t notice this in the past, but I saw DoshDosh doing something different. And then it hit me – John Chow was doing the same thing. What they did was whenever there was a link exchange or someone reviewing their site, they would definitely ask them to place an anchor text of ‘make money online’ which will like to their site. For example the coding would look like this (if you are not sure what an anchor text is): It will appear like this: Make Money Online Where Make Money Online is the anchor text while ‘http://dotmyspot.com/home’ is the link. If you keep track of John Chow’s search engine ranking on Google using Make Money Online as the keyword, previously he was in between the top ten – now he’s number one. He’s secret? He uses anchor texts such as below: make money make money at home making money make money from home make money online make money on the internet I’m not saying that this guide is 100% accurate – like I say; nobody knows exactly how search engines work. But this is part of the process which you can use. You can read more on what keywords you should target on by referring to my SEO Keyword Suggestion Tools article here. Cheers! Comments (0)
