FireFactor websiteIt’s time to burn your website, yeah, burn it down! I came across this website over at Dannette’s page (you can get her URL in the top ten list). I was pretty impressed by the page layout – very well done!

1. Ok what is FireFactor.com? – If you ask me – not sure. But one thing for sure, you can use it to analyze your website for better search engine optimization and get a better page rank from Google!

2. How effective? – Don’t know again! I’ve subscribed to the free subscription and it analyzed my website entirely. I got a huge spike in net traffic just because of this. The program will analyze each pages individually and give you a summary.

3. Analyze? Analyze what? – 5 basic categories, Visibility, Optimization, Design Elements, Accessibility and User Experience. If you ask me, I only understood optimization and accessibility. A dig on their ‘Help’ revealed that

Visibility – How visible when someone does a Google search? Meaning whether your website is in the top 10 or 20
Optimization – Something to deal with search engine optimization. Considers your Meta tags and how well the search engine finds your data
Design Elements – The amount of graphics, flash and tags for the graphics
Accessibility – How well your menu are designed and placed
User Experience – No idea what does it mean

Overall FireFactor Score

4. How did DotMySpot.com performed in the analysis – I got a 5.9 out of 10. My downfall was due to bad accessibility. I think I need to place a site map on my website just to satisfy Google when indexing. A site map helps Google to map and index your site much better. On the other hand, DotMySpot.com aces in Optimization.

5. My analysis on FireFactor.com Try it! It’s free and won’t cost you a penny – unless you want to subscribe to their services of course.

Good luck!
