Plastic Logic has a ton of surprises for consumers, and recently, the company has unleashed yet another superior display technology, dubbed as the Plastic Logic 100. Generally, the Plastic Logic 100 is the descendant of the now-cancelled Que, and Plastic Logic has big plans for the Plastic Logic 100, whereby the device would be used at Russian classrooms later this month.

Basically, the Plastic Logic 100 is powered by an 800MHz processor, and Windows CE will be the operating system. There’s 4GB of onboard storage space, and the 10.8-inch capacitive touchscreen supports 1280x960-pixels, and comes with touch-based UI too. Sadly, there’s no wireless connectivity, but there’s a microUSB onboard the device. Retailing at 12,000 Russian Rubles (just shy of $400), I don’t think that the Plastic Logic 100 is a viable classroom device – perhaps they should instead invest on the cheaper Kindle DX instead?
