We all know that converting apps from the iOS and Android is an uphill task and many developers have complained in the past that it might not be financial feasible to port apps from iOS and Android or vice versa, as clearly, the initiative that is involved is simply too time taxing and complex.
Well, it looks like Microsoft recognizes this, and they are in fact very desperate for developers to port their apps to the Windows Phone OS – simply by making it easier for them. To date, developers have added almost 50,000 new apps into the Windows Phone store in just 14 months, and Microsoft wants more. The company is taking the initiative to make it easier to developers to port their apps to their OS, with hopes of attracting more people into running their mobile OS.
