We all know that the Fukushima nuclear reactor incident has left a deep gash on the overall nuclear safety standards, and with so many radioactive materials being unleashed to the environment, it seems that the Fukushima operator is now opting for unconventional methods to clean up their mess.
Apparently, the latest bid by the nuclear reactor operator involves the usage of a modded robot vacuum cleaner, in which is designed to suck up radioactive dirt in the plant’s vicinity. Basically, the idea behind the modded vacuum bot is to operate the robot from a safe distance to do the dirty job of removing toxic sand and debris around the nuclear reactor. Surely, the robot beats the hell out of cleaning toxic waste yourself at the scene, don’t you think so?
