To tell you the truth, our entire body is capable of generating tremendous amount of energy, however, we have yet to discover methods to enhance this particular energy – up until now. Apparently, a group of researchers have successfully implanted the world’s first biofuel cell into a living creature.
Basically, the biofuel cell is able to produce 2 microwatts of power over several hours, and the biofuel call’s energy generating capacity can be enhanced further, which peaks the energy generating capacity of 24.4 microwatts per milliliter. Also, researchers are finding ways to include this particular biofuel cell into future pacemaker, which requires at least 10 microwatts of sustained power.
Perhaps our future is indeed something that was envisioned in the infamous movie called, The Matrix?
