Well the defense ministry has been investing into machineries that can simulate war-fares, whereby such machines can prepare soldiers and other servicemen to face war-like situations, without placing them in harm’s way. Nevertheless, it also seems that DARPA has been actively developing a sub-hunting sim too, dubbed as the Anti-submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel (ACTUV).

Basically, the Anti-submarine Warfare Continuous Trail Unmanned Vessel (ACTUV) is partly based on the Sonalysts Combat Simulations Dangerous Waters game, and the software allows the players to complete missions, such as to track a tub, and navigating through commercial ocean traffic. Also, captains can submit their strategies and game data to DARPA, in order to enhance the system.
