Apple Request to Block Samsung Galaxy Tablet, Phone Sales in the US is Denied |

Both Apple and Samsung entered into a bitter legal battle recently, as Apple alleges that Samsung has uncannily copied their Apple iPhone design, in which can be clearly seen on the Samsung Galaxy smartphone variants, as well as a few other devices. Of course, Apple has sued Samsung for various allege patent infringements, and they are on a war path in seeking a court order to block the sale of these Samsung devices.
The legal drama between Apple and Samsung in the US has reached a preliminary consensus, in which the US District Court Judge has just recently rejected Apple’s request to block the sale of Galaxy devices in North America. The judge declared that it is not clear on whether an injunction on Samsung devices would prevent Apple from irreparably harmed. Surely, given Apple’s track records, I’m guessing that Apple would definitely appeal against the decision.
