If you have been following my previous post which talks about my DJ friend’s personal recording studio, I’d definitely like to add that his recording studio is very well sound-proofed too. In fact, if you are outside in the dinning hall, you can’t hear a squeak of sound coming from the recording studio, as he has insulated it with several layers of high quality acoustic foam. Most interestingly, I requested my friend to shout at the top of his lungs inside his recording studio while I waited outside to catch his shouting – and the result is I heard nothing! Investing in high quality acoustic foam definitely pays off if you run a high end recording studio, as it would help improve the sound quality through minimizing ‘echo’ inside the studio.
