Sell Text Links Using WPTextAds.com: For WordPress Users Get Maximum Profit PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 16 July 2007
WPTextAdsAlex Choo commented on my blog in my previous post about WPTextAds.com. Using this site, you can sell text links on your WordPress site using their plugin. Here are some things that attract me:

1. You’ll get 100% of the payment unlike Text Link Ads where 50% goes to them or ReverseLinks where they keep the other 30% as their profit
2. You can sell your links on a single post, on the home page or the entire site

However, you’ll need to purchase the plugin from WPTextAds.com in order to use the plugin. The license fees are $127 with a 180 days money back guarantee. Since this is developed for WordPress – I don’t think this site’s platform could integrate such a plugin. And since you’ll need to purchase the software before you can try it, I don’t think I could write any review on the software itself.

Anyone wants to try?

Alex has a totally free version of his WPTextAds plug-in which one can use. The features aren't watered-down in the free version, it's just a limitation that restricts free version users to 3 ads.

With a such an established blog readership, I thought you ought to check the facts before writing.

Hi,

I'm the developer of WP Text Ads.

Just to fill in what Siah said in the earlier comment, the free version of WP Text Ads lets you sell 2 home page ads, 2 blog-wide ads, and 2 per-post ads.

In other words, you can sell 2 + 2 + (2 * total no. of posts) for free!

The idea is that you should be able to recoup the investment of $127 with the free ads.

Other than these limitations, users of the free and paid editions enjoy the same functionalities.

I hope readers are more informed now.
Hi there

Siah: Yes yes.. this is not to criticize anybody but this site is based on Joomla - it's not a wordpress blog i'm just saying that I can't test the software.. if you can extend your plugin in different types of blog i think it would be great.. but why do you sound like so offended?

btw this is a free review for u guys so enjoy..hope u appreciate it more.. thanks for visiting smilies/smiley.gif
