ReviewStream.com - This program is pretty similar to Ciao or at least part of Ciao. You get paid each time you write a review on the topics below:

They also put something on ‘special request’ where the below companies are willing to pay for reviews on their own products. Some interesting companies requesting special reviews:

1. Herbalife
2. Gateway Intel Centrino
3. Nokia
4. Toshiba
5. IKEA

The current rate for reviews stands at $1.50 per review. However, you can earn more for each vote that people cast on your review. Each vote will earn you an additional $0.10.

Payment on the other hand is rather confusing. They don’t pay you for your total accumulated earnings. Instead here’s something that I’ve extracted from their website:

1. Reviews that match their criteria = $1.50 for the review
2. Doesn’t meet criteria = paid in ‘bulk rate’ (Regular rate $1.50 divided by 5 = $0.30)
3. Minimum earnings to hit before payment

a. Regular editor = $50 (regular rate earnings)
b. SelfEditor program = $20 (flat rate or bulk rate earnings)

4. Accumulated votes payment = minimum $5

For them to issue payment, you’ll need to make a formal request to them. As for me, it’s pretty confusing on their payment system and there’s no way you can check your payment unless they send you a confirmation email for each reviews that you have submitted. Payment will be made via PayPal each time you hit your minimum accumulated earnings.

I’m guessing that this site does have a little potential to earn judging from the thousands of reviews that they have in their database. Furthermore they have operated for close to 2 years.

If you like writing reviews, you might want to give them a try, but as for me, I’d submit to Associated Content rather than ReviewStream as I get higher payments.
