Make Money Online July 2007 Earnings Report

July was an okay month for make money online. I’m made a total of $604.48 for the entire month. This earnings report is more accurate as I keep track of the daily earnings for 31 days ending 31st July 2007. Here’s how the earnings are broken down to:

Total: $604.48

Once again paid blogging dominates the earnings with a total of $536.10, while selling links on my site netted the second spot with a total of $62.92. I’ve got one referral for Associated Content which $3 was banked into my account as well as I’ve completed a survey from Ciao which added another $2.60 into my total accumulated Ciao earnings.

Although there was a slump in PayPerPost handling out assignments as well as the admin reducing the number of posts allowed per blog to 2, the earnings from this paid blogging remained healthy with a total income of $134 for the entire month. Take note however, that the money has yet to be banked in – their system requires you to wait for a month to validate the post.

SponsoredReviews and PayU2Blog remained as one of the most competitive paid blogging networks. I’ve received numerous assignments from them.

Apart from paid blogging, I’ve sold a couple of links on my site as well. Some of you who are new to monetizing your blogs have asked me how to get a link sold on Text Link Ads. I’ve written a post here which you can refer to – Basic Steps to Get Your Link Sold on Text Link Ads. Although the earnings from selling links are nothing near fantastic (as I was criticized earlier on another blog), it’s a good supplementary income.

Last but not least – I know the earnings are a little low but based on the current conversion rate in my country, I’ve made a healthy income. I know some probloggers out there are ranting about how much money they’ve made every month and how little my blog performed when compared to theirs, but I believe that you can use my monetization methods if you have a blog that is:

1. Newly established
2. Doesn’t have huge traffic
3. Just started to monetize your traffic

Successful blogs can choose their monetization methods because they have a choice but low traffic blogs have limited choices especially when you want to monetize it as fast as possible. Thus this can be a good guide for blogs that are categorized in this category :)

For your information – my traffic is around 30-100 uniques per day. Usually it’s in the region of 40-60 according to Google Analytics.
