Ciao - Make some money writing reviews and paid surveys!

One word – Ciao has everything so it’s pretty hard to describe. But one thing for sure, you can make some money out of Ciao – provided if you are from UK. As you can see, Ciao is a UK-based website which helps shoppers shop intelligently. What I meant by intelligently is because the site lets its community to review a number of products posted by prospective sellers.

Here’s how you can earn some money out of Ciao –

1. Earn money by participating in paid surveys – Ciao has in fact emailed me several paid surveys for me to complete. You can earn from £0.50 to £1.50 per survey. So far I’ve managed to complete a few. However, it was not reflected in my earnings statement as it will take at least 2 weeks or more to be updated.

2. Earn money by writing reviews – There is a huge list of products in Ciao’s database. You can choose any categories to review. However, you will not be paid for each completed review. You will only get paid when someone reads your review and finds it helpful. The pay rate is pretty low. Each time someone marks your review as helpful, you will only get 0.5 pence up to 2 pence.

3. Referral – Each time you refer a person to Ciao, you will get 50 pence. On the other hand, Ciao will also pay you 50% commission on your member’s earnings for the first 6 month.

Now here’s the disadvantage. Ciao only pays through direct deposit in a UK bank account. As a summary, you will need to be a UK citizen or at least have a UK bank account to participate. On the other hand, the pay rate is darn low - £5 to be eligible for payment.

You might wonder why I’m still participating in this site. That’s because I know someone in UK so it’s an advantage for me.
