 Well AuctionAds seemed pretty interesting in the past. I was able to implement this system months ago and I got quite a lot of hits. After 1 month trying out this program – I made $0 out of it and it was immediately scrapped. Pros 1. The affiliate program or rather referral program is rather enticing 2. They gave out free $5 recently 3. Very good for tech sites especially those that review and encourages people to buy things off the Internet Cons 2. Items from eBay which are mostly electronic or computer goods might be appealing in terms of the picture shown but not everyone wants to purchase that particular piece of item especially when the purchaser can shop to get a better price on eBay. 3. Unlike affiliate marketing which still gives you commission even after 6 months after the cookie is live and active on that particular PC and even though AuctionAds implements this system – it wouldn’t work as items on eBay exists on a limited time basis only. So what’s my verdict? AuctionAds seemed like a good earning online money making opportunity, but then again, it’s pretty hard to earn some decent money out of this money making program. I rather implement Adsense, Advertlets or anything else that gives a fix rate each time someone clicks on the advertisement. However, the referral program is rather enticing and if you manage to sign up hundreds of publishers under you, I bet that you will make a healthy income from AuctionAds… So nice try AuctionAds but there are plenty of things that you can improve on… Anyone wants to give it a try?
