 Caring for the elderly is not just your responsibility, it is a MUST. I don’t know about your childhood, whether you were happy or sad, but caring for the elderly is one of the most important aspects in my life. I lived a happy childhood. Yeap you got that right. I am happy then and I am still happy now.
Come to think of it, my parents are in their golden years now. Though my father is still working, I simply wished that I can actually take care of him now. Give him some money every month just to travel the world. Why do you think I need to be a millionaire by 30? It’s not just for personal gains, but for someone I truly love as well.
Of course there are some circumstances when a family member is unable to care for another. I have an aunt who is disabled. Since my grandmother passed away many years back, she was admitted to an elderly care center.
I did a search on Dallas Hospice to look at what sort of facilities that they provide. In my opinion they do have quite good facilities. Maybe I can work more so that I can support my family members some day.
