Netflix Drone Delivery
Tuesday, 25 February 2014
Using drones to deliver your products to your consumers might seems like a smart idea, and such ideas have caught Amazon and UPS’ attention, in which these giants are exploring the possibility of using quad-copters to automatically deliver to the client’s home. Well, it seems that Netflix is also interested in such technology, as the company was seen showcasing a video which shows a quad-copter delivering a Netflix video to a customer.

Of course, the road to making such quad-copter delivery technology available in the mainstream market might seem far-fetched. In fact, even Amazon’s initial video on using drone-delivery was just a publicity stunt, something that isn’t real – for the moment though. But surely, if quad-copter delivery does materialize, I’m sure that would surely be a cost effective method to deliver something right?
