The microprocessor war is always a heated battle, whereby microprocessor juggernauts are always outdoing themselves in order to stay ahead of their competitions. And just recently, VIA has unveiled their latest low-powered Eden X2 microprocessor, whereby VIA claims that the respective processor is the world’s most power-efficient microprocessor that does not require a fan to cool.

Basically, the Eden X2 is a dual-core processor, and it runs on a 64-bit architecture too. Also, VIA utilized the 40-nanometer manufacturing process to create the Eden X2. Naturally, the Eden X2 would be the successor to the Nano X2, and would be fully compatible with Windows CE and Linux operating systems too.
